My Baptism
On Saturday March 16th 2002, I was baptised in the Catholic Church at Portland, by Father Michael. I wore the same little white satin dress that my sister Laura wore for her baptism 3 years ago. I was very good and didn't cry. My sister Laura was very good too. She was very excited and proud of me and she held my baptism candle in the Church.
For my baptism, my godparents, Uncle Byran and Aunty Pam, bought me a beautiful gold bracelet with my name engraved on it. Mummy and Daddy bought me a gold name plate (same as Laura's) with my name engraved on it too.
I received some other lovely gifts as well...Grandma and Pop-a-Don bought me a 'Memory Bear', Aunty Brenda, Uncle Tony, Ceri & Scott bought me a little pink bunny; Aunty Sharon, Uncle Andrew, Brandon & Corey bought me a Bunnykins cup and bowl set; Aunty Gillian & Uncle Paul bought me a tooth box, Aunty Lee, Damien and Elley bought me a beautiful 'bootie' photo frame and Aunty Marilyn and family bought me a beautiful teddybear photo frame.
It was a lovely sunny day and afterwards everyone came back to our house for lunch...there was Grandma, Nan & Pa, Great Grandma, Uncle Byran and Aunty Pam, Daniel & Jack, Aunty Brenda, Michael, Ceri & Scott, Aunty Lee, Damien, Elley & Matt, Aunty Sharon, Aunty Lyn, Aunty Marilyn, Daniel, Debby, Chelsea & Luke, and of course, Mummy, Daddy, Laura & me.

This was my Baptism cake.

Here I am with Mummy and Daddy and with my Godparents, Uncle Byran and Aunty Pam.

And here I am being my usual, happy self :-)

This is me with my big sister, Laura.

And here I am clowning around for the camera.
