My 2nd year

I have some exciting news!
I have a new baby sister!
Her name is Clare and she was born on June 6th, 2001.
I love my new baby sister.

I now sleep in my 'big' bed, although I still think it makes a great trampoline!
I can sing the 'ABC song' and I can count to 20!

I still love Pooh Bear and all his friends, as well as Hi-5 and I sing and dance when I am watching them. My favourite place to be is outside. I like playing with Playdoh, drawing on my blackboard and having books read to me - I even pretend to read them myself.

I love playing with other kids and Mummy has been taking me to playgroup and kindergym. I especially love climbing and jumping. I can do somersaults and I have learnt lots of new songs and I remember them all. I especially love to sing in the bath :-))

I went to the Dentist with Mummy and I was very good. I sat up in the chair and let the Dentist have a look at my teeth. She gave me a balloon and a sticker for being so good.

Mummy and Daddy bought me a little kitchen. It has a stove and fridge, cooktop and sink. I pretend to do lots of cooking and make nice things for Mummy and Daddy.

I can recognise some letters now. I know "M" for Mummy, "D" for Daddy, "L" for Laura and "C" for Clare.

My little sister Clare is getting to be lots of fun. She smiles at me a lot and I love to talk and sing to her. I try to help Mummy lots by getting Clare's bibs for her and putting the clothes in the wash.

I can't wait for Christmas this year. I've asked Mummy and Daddy to tell Santa that I want a pink pushbike and a pink helmet for Christmas. I wonder if he'll bring them for me???
